安徽公安职业学院位于安徽省合肥市，是省公安厅主管的全省唯一一所全日制公安高校，由中央编办、人力资源社会保障部、公安部、教育部、财政部、国家公务员局联合认定的招收公安专业学生的公安类普通高等学校。学院前身是1958年创建的安徽省公安学校，历经省政法干部学校、公安学校、省人民警察学校、安徽大学公安学院等时期，2004年6月经省政府批准设置为安徽公安职业学院。

Anhui Public Security Vocational College is located in Hefei, Anhui Province. It is the only full-time public security college in the province under the supervision of the Provincial Public Security Department. It is a public security ordinary institution of higher education recognized by the Central Editorial Office, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Civil Service Bureau to enroll students in public security majors. The predecessor of the college was the Anhui Provincial Public Security School founded in 1958. It went through periods such as the Provincial Political and Legal Cadre School, Public Security School, Provincial People's Police School, and Anhui University Public Security College. In June 2004, it was approved by the provincial government to be established as Anhui Public Security Vocational College.

学院以公安专业教育为主，开设刑事侦查、治安管理、道路交通管理、刑事科学技术、网络安全与执法等公安专业及安全保卫管理、信息安全技术应用等普通专业，形成了学历教育与在职培训并重的办学格局。校园环境优美，警训设施完备，建有综合实训室、模拟指挥中心、射击馆等实战化教学场所，致力于培养政治坚定、业务精通、作风过硬的高素质公安专门人才，被誉为“安徽公安卫士的摇篮”。

The college focuses on public security professional education, offering public security majors such as criminal investigation, public security management, road traffic management, criminal science and technology, network security and law enforcement, as well as general majors such as security management and information security technology application, forming a school-running pattern that emphasizes both academic education and on-the-job training. The campus has a beautiful environment and complete police training facilities, with practical teaching places such as comprehensive training rooms, simulated command centers, and shooting ranges. It is committed to cultivating high-quality public security professionals with firm politics, proficient business, and strong work style, and is known as "the cradle of Anhui public security guards".
