安徽三联学院由安徽三联投资集团于1997年出资创办，是安徽省第一所民办高校，现为国家教育部批准建立的拥有学士学位授予权的省属普通本科高校，其成立已分别载入《安徽改革开放40年大事记》《新中国70年安徽大事记》。学校坐落于省会合肥，主校区地处大学城翡翠湖畔，以工为主，管、经、文、艺、医、法等多学科协调发展，开设本科专业48个，设有智慧交通现代产业学院（学部）、现代康养产业学院（学部）、数字创意现代产业学院（学部）、新商科学部、工学部、文学部等“三院三部”，全日制在校生19000余人，办学近30年累计为社会培养应用型人才7万余人。

Anhui Sanlian University was founded in 1997 by Anhui Sanlian Investment Group. As the first private university in Anhui Province, it is now a provincial ordinary undergraduate university with the right to grant bachelor's degrees approved by the Ministry of Education. Its establishment has been recorded in both "Anhui's 40-Year Reform and Opening-Up Chronicles" and "Anhui's 70-Year New China Chronicles". Located in Hefei, the provincial capital, with its main campus situated by the Feicui Lake in the University Town, the university focuses on engineering and develops coordinately with multiple disciplines including management, economics, literature, art, medicine, and law. It offers 48 undergraduate programs and has established three colleges and three departments, namely the School (Faculty) of Intelligent Transportation Modern Industry, the School (Faculty) of Modern Health Care Industry, the School (Faculty) of Digital Creative Modern Industry, the New Business Faculty, the Engineering Faculty, and the Literature Faculty. With over 19,000 full-time students, it has cultivated more than 70,000 applied talents for society in nearly 30 years of running.

学校秉承举办者产学研一体化发展“基因”，依托国家车辆驾驶安全工程技术研究中心、国家级博士后科研工作站等资源，组建交通安全应用技术、服务机器人应用技术等协同创新中心，获批安徽省交通信息与安全重点实验室等多个学科平台，金会庆教授团队先后获国家科技进步一等奖、安徽省重大科技成就奖。学校积极推进国际交流合作，已与美国、日本、韩国等10个国家和地区的26所高校建立合作关系，先后获评“中国产学研合作促进奖”“全国产教融合标杆院校”“安徽省普通高校毕业生就业工作标兵单位”等荣誉。

Upholding the "gene" of integrating industry, education and research from its founder, the university relies on resources such as the National Engineering Technology Research Center for Vehicle Driving Safety and the National Postdoctoral Research Station to establish collaborative innovation centers in applied technologies of traffic safety and service robots. It has been approved for multiple disciplinary platforms including the Anhui Key Laboratory of Traffic Information and Safety. Professor Jin Huiqing's team has successively won the National Science and Technology Progress First Prize and the Anhui Provincial Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Award. Actively promoting international exchanges and cooperation, the university has established partnerships with 26 universities in 10 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, and South Korea. It has been awarded honors such as "China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Promotion Award", "National Model University for Industry-Education Integration", and "Anhui Provincial Model Unit for College Graduate Employment Work".
