辽宁政法职业学院具有悠久历史和红色传承，毛泽东同志两次出访苏联途经沈阳，我院学生均承担了有关保卫工作。1988年5月，组建辽宁公安司法管理干部学院。1998年8月，辽宁省司法学校并入学院。2011年12月，成立辽宁政法职业学院，举办高等职业教育。2017年2月，省社会福利中心并入学院。2018年9月，省法官培训学院、省检察官培训学院并入学院，同时承担国家法官学院辽宁分院、国家检察官学院辽宁分院的职能。

Liaoning Vocational College of Politics and Law has a long history and red heritage. When Comrade Mao Zedong visited the Soviet Union twice and passed through Shenyang, the students of our college were responsible for the security work. In May 1988, Liaoning College of Public Security and Judicial Management Cadres was established. In August 1998, Liaoning Judicial School was merged into the college. In December 2011, Liaoning Vocational College of Politics and Law was established to offer higher vocational education. In February 2017, the Provincial Social Welfare Center was merged into the college. In September 2018, the Provincial Judges Training College and the Provincial Prosecutors Training College were merged into the college, and at the same time, it assumed the functions of Liaoning Branch of National Judges College and Liaoning Branch of National Prosecutors College.

学院地处沈阳棋盘山国际旅游风景区，占地面积450余亩，建筑面积12万平方米。学院编制554人，其中教授32人，副教授119人。近年来，学院认真贯彻落实习近平总书记关于加强政法队伍建设的一系列要求，紧紧围绕平安辽宁、法治辽宁和过硬政法队伍建设，全面履行省委、省政府赋予的职能，每年培养法律实务型应用人才千余人，每年培训公、检、法、司干警逾万人次。

The college is located in Shenyang Qipanshan International Tourism Scenic Area, covering an area of more than 450 mu and a building area of 120,000 square meters. The college has a staff of 554, including 32 professors and 119 associate professors. In recent years, the college has earnestly implemented a series of requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping on strengthening the construction of political and legal teams, closely focused on the construction of safe Liaoning, rule of law Liaoning and excellent political and legal teams, fully performed the functions entrusted by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, trained more than 1,000 practical legal application talents every year, and trained more than 10,000 police officers of public security, procuratorate, court and justice departments every year.
