乌克兰国立技术大学“基辅理工学院”创办于1898年，位于乌克兰首都基辅，是世界上最古老且规模最大的工科大学之一，前身为基辅理工学院，1995年被授名乌克兰国立技术大学。该校占地面积160公顷，拥有23栋教学楼、22栋学生公寓及图书馆、文化中心等设施，形成完整的大学城体系。学校现有教职员工2700多名，其中国家科学院院士和通讯院士44名，教授、副教授1000多名，在校学生三万余名，包括来自50多个国家的约800名外国留学生。学科设置涵盖工程机械、冶金、计算机科学、化学工程等多个领域，教学语言采用乌克兰语、俄语和英语，注重实践教学与国际合作，培养了众多杰出科学家与工程技术人才。

National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was founded in 1898 and is located in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It is one of the oldest and largest engineering universities in the world, formerly known as Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and renamed National Technical University of Ukraine in 1995. Covering an area of 160 hectares, the university has 23 teaching buildings, 22 student dormitories, libraries, cultural centers and other facilities, forming a complete university town system. There are more than 2,700 faculty members, including 44 academicians and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences, over 1,000 professors and associate professors, and more than 30,000 students, including about 800 international students from over 50 countries. The disciplines cover engineering machinery, metallurgy, computer science, chemical engineering and other fields. Teaching languages include Ukrainian, Russian and English, with a focus on practical teaching and international cooperation, cultivating many outstanding scientists and engineering talents.

The university has achieved remarkable results in academic research, with 19 departments, 5 academic research institutes, 14 research institutions and 6 mechanical engineering centers. Its research achievements in chemical engineering, new materials and other fields are internationally renowned. Historically, chemist Dmitri Mendeleev served as the director of the university's State Examination Commission, and many world-renowned scientists such as Igor Sikorsky and Sergei Korolev have close ties with the university. In international rankings, it ranks in the 801-850 range of the 2026 QS World University Rankings, and is a leading institution in Ukrainian science and engineering education. It maintains cooperative relations with many universities around the world, providing students with diversified academic resources and development platforms.
