四川电影电视学院（Sichuan Film and Television University，缩写SFU），简称川影，是由四川省教育厅主管、四川共缘实业有限公司举办的民办全日制普通高等本科院校，入选四川省高等学校“双一流”建设贡嘎计划，是四川省艺术创作中心剧本孵化与教学基地、四川省首个艺术类中外合作办学项目获批院校。学校前身为1992年创办的四川电影电视艺术进修学院，历经四川师范大学电影电视学院、四川电影电视职业学院等发展阶段，2014年升格为本科院校并更为现名，办学定位于应用技术类型高等学校。

Sichuan Film and Television University (SFU), referred to as Chuan Ying, is a private full-time ordinary undergraduate university sponsored by Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and organized by Sichuan Gongyuan Industrial Co., Ltd. It is selected into the "Double First-Class" Construction Gongga Plan of Sichuan Province's colleges and universities, serving as the script incubation and teaching base of Sichuan Provincial Art Creation Center and the first university in Sichuan Province approved for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs in art. Formerly known as Sichuan Film and Television Art Training College founded in 1992, it has gone through stages such as the Film and Television College of Sichuan Normal University and Sichuan Film and Television Vocational College. In 2014, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university and renamed to its current name, positioning itself as an application-oriented technical institution of higher education.

学校现有金牛、安仁两个校区，设有电影学院、电视学院、播音主持学院等10个二级学院及基础教学部，开设25个本科专业和21个专科专业，其中广播电视编导、播音与主持艺术为国家级一流本科专业建设点，影视摄影与制作、表演、戏剧影视文学为省级一流本科专业建设点，戏剧与影视学科入选四川省“双一流”建设贡嘎计划Ⅲ类学科。学校师资团队近半数为影视行业一线专业人士，双师型教师保障实践教学与行业发展同步，近年来获省部级课题6项、国家专利22项，学生获学科竞赛奖项1500余项。

The university has two campuses in Jinniu and Anren, with 10 secondary colleges including the Film College, Television College, and Broadcasting and Hosting College, as well as a Basic Teaching Department. It offers 25 undergraduate majors and 21 junior college majors. Among them, Radio and Television Directing, and Broadcasting and Hosting Art are national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, while Film and Television Photography and Production, Performance, and Drama and Film Literature are provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites. The discipline of Drama and Film Studies is selected into the Type III disciplines of Sichuan Province's "Double First-Class" Construction Gongga Plan. Nearly half of the faculty are professionals from the frontline of the film and television industry, with double-qualified teachers ensuring that practical teaching keeps pace with industry development. In recent years, it has obtained 6 provincial and ministerial-level projects, 22 national patents, and students have won more than 1,500 awards in academic competitions.

学校与阿里文娱、腾讯等200余家企业建立战略合作，拥有2个省级实验教学示范中心及14个校内实践基地，校外实习实训基地超200个，涵盖中央电视台、湖南卫视等主流媒体。自筹资金10亿元打造的四川影视文创城，占地200亩、建筑面积25万平方米，是国内首个大学内影视全流程创制基地，集剧本研发、摄影棚集群、器材道具库等于一体。建校30余年来，培养了李佳明、谢娜、杨迪等知名校友，毕业生就业率常年保持96%以上，被誉为“中国影视人才四大培养基地之一”。

The university has established strategic cooperation with over 200 enterprises including Alibaba Entertainment and Tencent. It boasts 2 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 14 on-campus practice bases, and more than 200 off-campus internship and training bases covering mainstream media such as CCTV and Hunan Satellite TV. The Sichuan Film and Television Cultural and Creative City, built with self-raised funds of 1 billion yuan, covers an area of 200 mu with a construction area of 250,000 square meters. It is the first full-process film and television production base within a university in China, integrating script research and development, studio clusters, equipment and props warehouses, etc. Over the past 30 years since its establishment, it has cultivated well-known alumni such as Li Jiaming, Xie Na, and Yang Di, with a graduate employment rate consistently above 96%, known as "one of the four major training bases for Chinese film and television talents".
