山东航空学院是山东省人民政府直属的普通本科高校，坐落在兵圣孙子故里、渤海革命老区、美丽富饶的黄河三角洲中心城市——滨州市。学校前身是始建于1954年的北镇师范学校，2004年改建为滨州学院，2021年获批硕士学位授予单位、山东省应用型本科高校建设首批支持单位，2023年更名为山东航空学院。

Shandong University of Aeronautics is an ordinary undergraduate university directly under the People's Government of Shandong Province, located in Binzhou City, the hometown of Sun Tzu, the revolutionary old area of the Bohai Sea, and the central city of the beautiful and rich Yellow River Delta. The predecessor of the university was Beizhen Normal School founded in 1954. It was rebuilt into Binzhou University in 2004, approved as a master's degree-granting unit and one of the first supported units for the construction of application-oriented undergraduate universities in Shandong Province in 2021, and renamed Shandong University of Aeronautics in 2023.

学校秉承“明德、砺学、日新、致远”的校训，弘扬“自强不息，守正出奇”的学校精神，坚持服务国家和行业重大需求的办学特色。目前占地近2000亩，设有19个二级学院、3个直属科研机构，开设58个本科专业，面向全国30个省（自治区、直辖市）招生，全日制普通在校生18500余人。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Learning, Innovation, and Perseverance" and carrying forward the school spirit of "Self-improvement, Upholding Integrity and Striving for Innovation", the university insists on the school-running characteristic of serving the major needs of the country and industries. At present, it covers an area of nearly 2000 mu, with 19 secondary colleges and 3 directly affiliated scientific research institutions. It offers 58 undergraduate majors, enrolls students from 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) across the country, and has more than 18,500 full-time ordinary students.
