蒙斯大学（University of Mons，简称UMONS）于2009年由蒙斯理工学院和蒙斯埃诺大学合并而成，其历史可追溯至1837年建立的蒙斯理工学院，是比利时第一所工程师学校，也是该国最古老的大学之一。学校主校区位于联合国教科文组织评定的欧洲文化之都蒙斯市，另设沙勒罗瓦校区，为欧洲顶尖工科大学联盟（T.I.M.E.联盟）与欧洲大学协会成员，同时是Pôle hainuyer联盟创始成员。

University of Mons (UMONS) was established in 2009 through the merger of the Faculty of Engineering of Mons and the University of Mons-Hainaut. Its roots date back to the École des Mines de Mons founded in 1837, making it Belgium's first engineering school and one of the country's oldest universities. With its main campus in Mons, a UNESCO-designated European Capital of Culture, and a secondary campus in Charleroi, UMONS is a member of the Top Industrial Managers for Europe (T.I.M.E. Alliance) and the European University Association, as well as a founding member of the Pôle hainuyer consortium.

蒙斯大学现有7个学院和3个研究所，学科涵盖理、工、医、法、经济、管理、人文、艺术等领域，开设超过150门课程，拥有约11,000名学生（来自73个国家）及1,500名教职工，包括600余名科研人员。其特色学院包括建筑与城市化学院、翻译与口译学院（国际口译学校）、Warocque经济与管理学院等，在工程技术、翻译学、心理学等领域享有盛誉。

The university comprises 7 faculties and 3 research institutes, offering over 150 programs across science, engineering, medicine, law, economics, management, humanities, and arts. It hosts approximately 11,000 students from 73 countries and 1,500 staff members, including over 600 researchers. Notable faculties include the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (International School of Interpreting), and the Warocque Faculty of Economics and Management, with renowned strengths in engineering, translation studies, and psychology.
