安娜大学（Anna University）是由印度泰米尔纳德邦政府建立的一所综合性公立大学，1978年由金奈的四所知名研究机构合并而成，包括GUINDY工程学院、马德拉斯大学ALAGAPPA技术学院的技术系、马德拉斯大学建筑与规划学院以及马德拉斯技术学院。学校位于印度南部的金奈市，现有两处校园，面积超过100公顷，在校学生40余万人，是印度规模最大的工程技术类大学之一。

Anna University is a comprehensive public university established by the Government of Tamil Nadu, India. Founded in 1978, it was formed by merging four prestigious research institutions in Chennai: Guindy Engineering College, the Department of Technology of Alagappa College of Technology (University of Madras), the School of Architecture and Planning (University of Madras), and Madras Institute of Technology. Located in Chennai in southern India, the university has two campuses covering over 100 hectares, with more than 400,000 students, making it one of the largest engineering and technology universities in India.

The university offers over 100 undergraduate and postgraduate programs across multiple disciplines including natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, and engineering technology. Its programs in electronic engineering, computer science, and industrial design are renowned both in India and globally. In 2001, the Government of Tamil Nadu integrated 235 self-financed engineering colleges in the state into its management system, further strengthening its leading position in Indian higher education. Recognized as an "Institution of Excellence" by the University Grants Commission and awarded a five-star rating by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the university ranks among India's top institutions and is known as "India's MIT".
