宁夏葡萄酒与防沙治沙职业技术学院是经自治区人民政府批准、教育部审核备案的国家公办全日制高等职业院校，坐落于宁夏贺兰山东麓葡萄酒国家地理标志保护产品保护区。学院始建于1985年，前身为宁夏林业学校，历经39年发展，已成为自治区唯一一所以培养葡萄酒产业链和生态文明建设技术技能人才为主的高等职业院校，占地约2000亩，校园环境优美，被誉为花园式学校。

Ningxia Vocational and Technical College of Wine and Desertification Control is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the Autonomous Region People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is located in the National Geographical Indication Protection Product Reserve of Helan Mountain East麓 Wine Region in Ningxia. Founded in 1985 as Ningxia Forestry School, after 39 years of development, it has become the only higher vocational college in the autonomous region focusing on cultivating technical and skilled talents for the wine industry chain and ecological civilization construction, covering an area of about 2000 mu with a beautiful campus environment, known as a garden-style school.

学院现有在籍学生4700余人，教职员工179人，其中副教授及以上职称22人，双师型教师53人，硕士及以上学位教师75人。开设酿酒技术、食品检验检测技术、环境监测技术等19个高职专业和6个五年一贯制专业，建有宁夏葡萄酒和宁夏枸杞两所现代产业学院，以及8个实训基地（中心）和35个专业实训室，形成了以葡萄酒产业链和生态文明建设为特色的办学体系。

The college currently has over 4700 students and 179 faculty members, including 22 associate professors or above, 53 dual-qualified teachers, and 75 teachers with master's degree or above. It offers 19 higher vocational majors such as Wine-making Technology, Food Inspection and Testing Technology, Environmental Monitoring Technology, and 6 five-year一贯制 majors. It has established two modern industrial colleges for Ningxia Wine and Ningxia Wolfberry, as well as 8 training bases (centers) and 35 professional training rooms, forming a school-running system featuring the wine industry chain and ecological civilization construction.
